One of the oldest national religions that emerged in the 1st millennium BC. That is, the Jewish tribes of Palestine have the state religion of Israel. Characteristic features of Judaism: belief in one God Yahweh and the Messiah (Savior), the dogma of the chosen God of the Jews. Judaism has remained relatively homogeneous for much longer than Christianity. The rejection of Christ and the expectation of another in his place, called the Antichrist in the Christian tradition, became in the past the spiritual cause of the state and national catastrophe of the Jews and their dispersal throughout the world.
